Held in Love: A Valentine for Your Nervous System

Held in Love: A Valentine for Your Nervous System

A Valentine’s Wellness Event in Stowe, VT

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be loud, rushed, or performative. This season, SALT + GROVE invites you to slow down and reconnect — with yourself, with a partner, or simply with rest.

Held in Love is a heart-centered, deeply nourishing two-hour workshop designed to calm the nervous system and invite profound rest. This special Valentine’s experience is open to couples, friends, members, and guests alike — no prior yoga or Reiki experience required.

A Different Kind of Valentine’s Experience

Held in Love was created as a true alternative to traditional Valentine’s events. Instead of stimulation or spectacle, this workshop centers on rest, regulation, and gentle connection.

Whether you attend solo, with a partner, or alongside a friend, this experience offers space to slow down, soften, and be supported — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

This is a Valentine for your nervous system.

What to Expect During the Workshop

Guests will be guided through a thoughtfully curated two-hour experience designed to support deep relaxation and restoration.

Restorative Yoga (90 minutes)

The workshop begins with a 90-minute restorative yoga sequence, where the body is fully supported in restful shapes using bolsters, blankets, and props. All mats and props are provided.

Restorative yoga is a slow, intentional practice that allows the body to release tension without effort. Poses are held for longer periods of time, encouraging the nervous system to shift out of stress and into rest.

Throughout the practice, facilitators will offer hands-on adjustments to help guests feel supported, grounded, and at ease.

Reiki Energy Healing

Integrated throughout the workshop is Reiki, a gentle energy healing modality that supports balance, relaxation, and the body’s natural healing response.

During extended savasana, guests will receive individual Reiki, allowing for deeper rest and energetic support. Reiki is non-invasive and deeply calming, making it accessible for anyone — even those new to energy work.

Sound Healing & Extended Savasana

Sound healing elements are woven into the experience to further support relaxation and nervous system regulation. Gentle sound and vibration help quiet the mind and encourage the body to fully let go.

The extended savasana offers space to integrate the practice, rest deeply, and receive individualized care.

Closing Cacao Circle

The workshop concludes with a closing cacao circle, offering a moment of grounding and connection before transitioning back into the day.

Guests are invited to enjoy ceremonial cacao, with optional journaling and sharing for those who feel called. This portion of the experience is intentionally gentle and non-obligatory — participation is always by choice.
